Arthrosis/Osteoarthritis
– –
Arthrosis is a degenerative disease of the joints and, more specifically, of joint cartilages. The most affected joints are the vertebral column, the knee, the hip and hand/foot fingers. When joint degeneration is serious, a functional limitation arises.
Osteoarthritis differs from arthrosis because of an inflammatory process. The main symptoms of osteoarthritis are: strong pain, tumefaction and joint stiffness.
